Bought a gun online or from a seller in another state? Have it shipped to Pathfinder Defense at 910 Avenue E in Powell, and pick it up here after a Form 4473 and background check. We serve Powell, Cody, Lovell and the rest of the Big Horn Basin.

These are our transfer fees only. Machine guns and destructive devices still need an approved ATF Form 4 and ATF's $200 transfer tax.
How a transfer works
- Buy the gun, and give the seller our name and address. Ask us for a copy of our FFL if the seller needs one.
- Have it shipped by UPS or USPS whenever possible. We no longer accept packages delivered by FedEx.
- We call you when it arrives. Come in, fill out the Form 4473 and pass the background check, and take it home.
All paper forms must be filled out in person at our shop, with no exceptions.
Suppressors, SBRs and NFA items
Since October 9, 2026, suppressors, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, and AOWs transfer on a Form 4473 with a background check, like any other firearm, and Wyoming residents can pick them up here. Machine guns and destructive devices still go through the full NFA process, and we can set up your ATF eForms account, fingerprints and photos. Read our 2026 NFA guide.
